Upah Haji dan Haji Badal

Erti Upah Haji ialah mengupah seorang yang telahpun menunaikan Haji dirinya sendiri, untuk melakukan Haji untuk orang lain pula. Orang lain itu samada telah meninggal dunia atau sakit yang tiada harapan sembuh menyebabkan orang lain itu tidak mampu kesihatan untuk ke Tanah Suci. Haji untuk orang lain seperti ini dinamakan Haji Badal. “Badal” bermakna “ganti” atau “alternatif”.Untuk memahami hukum dan perlaksanaan Haji Badal, kita terlebih dahulu harus mengetahui hukum asal Haji dan Umrah bagi orang yang masih hidup.

Hukum Haji dan Umrah

Erti Haji ialah mengunjungi Kaabah (Baitullah) dalam Bulan-bulan Haji kerana mengerjakan Tawaf, Saie, Wuquf dan lain-lain menurut syarat-syarat serta menunaikan wajib-wajibnya.
Erti Umrah ialah mengunjungi Kaabah (Baitullah) pada bila-bila masa kerana mengerjakan Tawaf, Saie dan lain-lain menurut syarat-syarat serta menunaikan wajib-wajibnya.

Pahala anak yang mengerjakan Haji untuk kedua orang tuanya.

Dari Ibnu Abbas ra bahawa Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Sesiapa yang mengerjakan Haji bagi pihak kedua ibu bapanya, atau melunaskan hutang mereka maka dia akan dibangkitkan di Hari Kiamat bersama dengan Al-Abrar (orang-orang yang dekat dengan Allah swt)”.

Dari Jabir bahawa Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Sesiapa yang mengerjakan Haji bagi pihak ayahnya atau ibunya maka dia telah menyempurnakan Hajinya dan mendapat pahala sepuluh Haji”.

Dari Zaid bin Arqam bahawa Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Apabila seorang lelaki itu mengerjakan Haji untuk kedua ibu bapanya maka akan diterima ibadah Haji tersebut dari dia dan dari kedua ibu bapanya serta disampaikan berita gembira kepada ruh-ruh ibu bapanya dan ditulis di sisi Allah sebagai satu kebajikan”. Hadis ini bermaksud anak tersebut mengerjakan haji sebanyak dua kali, sekali untuk ayahnya dan sekali untuk ibunya maka dia dapat melunaskan kewajipan Haji ibu dan bapanya serta dia mendapat pahala dari ibadah Hajinya itu.

Seseorang tidak boleh mengerjakan Haji untuk orang lain jika dia sendiri belum mengerjakan Haji untuk dirinya. Dari Ibnu Abbas bahawa Nabi saw mendengar seorang lelaki bertalbiyah sambil berniat mengerjakan Haji untuk Syubrumah lalu bersabda, “Siapa dia Syubrumah?”. Lelaki itu menjawab, “Saudaraku”. Nabi saw bertanya, “Adakah engkau telah mengerjakan Haji untuk diri sendiri?”. Dia menjawab, “Belum”. Sabda Nabi saw, “Kamu kerjakan Haji untuk dirimu sendiri terlebih dahulu, kemudian barulah kerjakan Haji untuk Syubrumah”. (Hadis diriwayatkan oleh Ad-Darqutny dan Ibnu Majah).

Hadis ini menjadi dalil mazhab Syafie bahawa seseorang itu tidak boleh mengerjakan Haji untuk orang lain selagimana dia belum mengerjakan Haji untuk dirinya sendiri.

Oleh itu, raihlah peluang untuk berbakti kepada kedua ibu bapa walaupun mereka telah tiada...
